Information for Families

The Ministry of Community and Social Services has advised Trellis that all funding for the adult portion of the SSAH Program will be transferred to Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) Central West Region, effective April 1, 2012. This will allow adult clients and their families access to all developmental services and resources, including SSAH funds, through one access point. If you have questions, please contact Developmental Services Ontario at 519-741-1121 extension 2230 or 1-888-941-1121. The Developmental Services Ontario website is www.dsontario.ca.  Updates regarding service delivery will be available at this website.  A recent "Question and Answer" was released by the Ministry and is posted here.

About Us

Special Services At Home Coordinators work with families of children and adults with a Developmental Disability, and with families of children with a Physical Disability.  Family Support Options has an ongoing commitment to provide the level of support required by families to negotiate the system successfully. Coordinators will assist families to utilize funding via both options available to them, Independent Model and Employee Model.
