Special Services at Home provides programming for children and adults with developmental disabilities and children with physical disabilities who live at home with their families.

The goal of the Special Services at Home Program is to provide funding to hire a person to work on specific goals as well as to provide relief for families.

Who can apply?

• People with an interest in working with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
• Those who already have experience or training in the field or disabilities
• Anyone who wants to gain experience for a career path in serving people with special needs
• Previous related experience and access to a vehicle are assets
• Contractual hours normally occur after school, evenings and weekends
• Applicants must have Grade 12
