The University of Guelph was ranked first as the best comprehensive University in Canada (Macleans Magazine 2002), and has an undergraduate and graduate enrolment of 15,000.  Trellis Mental Health & Developmental Services also maintains three well staffed and established branch offices in the surrounding communities, each served by acute care hospitals and situated in picturesque rural areas. 

• We are currently recruiting for practitioners in both urban and rural settings
• The successful candidates must have excellent interviewing abilities, be expert in the area of psychopharmacology, and have the skills and knowledge to provide consultations to primary care physicians and to community agencies
• Experience in psychiatric specialties (psychogeriatrics, child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, rural psychiatry, affective disorders) would be an asset.  F.R.C.P. (C) and Ontario license required
• Demonstrated ability to work with an inter-disciplinary team(s), commitment to community-based services, a valid driver's licence and own transportation are requirements of these positions.  We take pride in our smoke-free environments
• Fee for service and salaried arrangements available
